Free High-Res Photoshop Brushes - Leaves

I started to make Photoshop brush sets here on BittBox, and everyone seems to love them, so I’m gonna keep on pumping them out whenever I can. I actually took leaves from my own back yard and scanned them to make this Hi-Res Photoshop Brush set. There are 10 brushes in the set, and most of them are 2500px in size. Enjoy, and don’t forget, you can post your artwork to the BittBox User Showcase Group@Flickr to show all of us what you’ve come up with! Enjoy the brushes. Download and installation instructions below.

Download CS3 Version: (13.45MB)

Includes: - Photoshop CS3 Brush Library (1)

Download CS1 Version: (13.44MB)

Includes: - Photoshop CS1 Brush Library (1)

Everyone Else - PNGs (15.69MB)

The CS Brushes Should work in CS2, but just in case, here are the PNG Source files so you can make your own brushes if you need to, and for all previous Photoshop versions.

Installation:

1. Download the file and unzip it.

2. Copy the .abr file to your Photoshop/Presets/Brushes folder.

3. In your Photoshop Brushes palette, click on the arrow in the upper right and click on “Load Brushes.”

4. Navigate until you find the file and load it (Photoshop/Presets/Brushes/BB_HiRes_Leaves.abr )

Note: The next time you restart Photoshop you will not have to load the file, it will be in the list of Brush Libraries.

    you’ll always be the best, i like your idea of scaning an actual leaves to make the brushes or just to use them in your designs, actually i use the same method in my work as i am a tile designer i scan a real marbles and woods to make my texture.

    I love the idea of the scans. While I’ve used Photoshop for a long time, I’m new to creating brushes. Can you explain the steps between scan and the “Define Brush” command? Or, if there’s already a post that I’m missing, please link me.

    Those CS3 brushes also work with CS2… just tried and it works fine. Great job!!!

    I just discovered your site and love your freebies! Unfortunately I can’t download these brushes (as well as the watercolor ones) as they seem to have been removed mediafire - too bad. Thanks for all the other stuff, though :)

    What about your whole downloads? They don’t work any more. At the download page, there’s an error message:

    “Invalid Quickkey. This error has been forwarded to MediaFire’s development team.

    The quickkey you provided for file download was invalid. This is usually caused because the file is no longer stored on Mediafire. This occurs when the file is removed by the originating user or Mediafire.”

    Where to download instead? thanks. Chris

    Hey - It seems media fire have removed your brush pack for CS1 - I’m getting the error that they have violated the TOS of Media Fire.
